Colour Matching
Colour is just as important as design in defining how your packaging appears on the shelf. SkyPack supports colour matching for PET and PP packaging by working with trusted colourant partners and proven sampling routines.
To ensure the approved colour can be reproduced in serial production, we align our colour development closely with real manufacturing conditions. Wherever possible, our colour partners use the same raw materials and comparable processing methods as the production plants, which reduces deviations, minimizes errors, and shortens time-to-market for coloured packaging.
At SkyPack, we work with a portfolio of standard colours that are available across all our standard products.
For requirements outside this range, a dedicated colour matching process can be carried out according to your specific needs. To ensure a stable sampling process and an efficient move into industrial production, our suppliers often work with the same raw materials.
Colour matches can be provided on colour plaques for quick review and approval. Upon request, coloured samples can also be produced to evaluate the final appearance on the actual packaging before serial production.
Additives
UV and special additives can be used in our production process to meet specific visual requirements. We work exclusively with masterbatch-based additives, including UV protection solutions as well as special effects such as a foggy appearance. This approach ensures stable output and a controlled result from sampling to serial production.
